ACE receives $800,000 grant from Chase

We are thrilled to announce that ACE, in partnership with the Horticultural Society of New York (the Hort) and the Neighborhood Plaza Partnership (NPP), has been awarded a two-year grant in the amount of $800,000 from Chase to provide vocational rehabilitation services and transitional employment opportunities for ACE participants working in NYC public plazas.

Together with NPP and the Hort, ACE provides affordable, high-quality maintenance and horticultural care to public plazas throughout New York City in collaboration with the Department of Transportation Plaza Program, through which underused NYC streets are re-purposed into green and vibrant pedestrian plazas. The Chase grant will fund our vocational rehabilitation services and maintenance/beautification work in Corona Plaza, Queens, as well as the continued expansion of the plaza program to the city’s all five boroughs.
