Since our inception in 1992, ACE has helped over 2,500 homeless New Yorkers reclaim their lives through our programs and services. Below are the highlights of our 2015 achievements:

* We enrolled 152 individuals in our vocational rehabilitation program.

* 98 Project Comeback participants graduated by finding full-time employment.

* $10.01 is the average starting wage of a Project Comeback graduate.

* 65% of our program graduates retained employment for at least 12 months (this percentage reflects the 2014 data as 2015 cohort data is still incomplete).

*28% of our graduates have access to employer-sponsored medical/dental benefits, paid vacation time and/or a 401K.

*2015 ACE participants logged a total of 13,700 hours of classroom instruction in the subjects of reading, writing and math, increasing their literacy and math abilities by an average of 2 grade levels during a four-to-six month time span.

*ACE participants logged a cumulative 2,500 hours in occupational skills training in 2014.

*84 participants became Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) certified.

*41 participants earned horticultural certification.

*20 participants successfully completed a 40-hour janitorial training.

*15 participants obtained Food Protection Certification.

*ACE participants logged 43,000 hours of work experience training in 2015, providing sanitation and horticultural services and engaging in internship opportunities while learning to meet employer expectations and gaining recent work experience for their resumes.
