ACE is thrilled to announce that Apple Store – SoHo (103 Prince St.) will be offering free bi-monthly computer training to our program participants. We held our first class at the space on Tuesday, with 10 ACE clients in attendance. Our newly-minted Apple students viewed an instructional PowerPoint presentation before hitting the keyboards to work on understanding the fundamentals of the computer’s operating system and best internet practices. These skills are absolutely essential to the job search process that our program participants face, and this unique partnership offers them a chance to learn from the best.
Going forward, Apple will be working with ACE to offer both basic and advanced classes, so expect more details and updates on this exciting initiative. Many thanks to Apple, Inc. and the staff at the Apple Store SoHo!
